I’ve always envisioned writing a book like the non-fiction novel from John Berendt “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil”. The meeting of all these intrinsic characters who eventually all make part of the puzzle, just brings joy. Excuse me writing, I have one blue moon and 2 Mcallans in me.
Anyways, I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and joining them in their moments of joy or sadness or whatever the occasion may be. In this case, the secret society I belong to… Jk. This is gonna have to be one of those thing IYKYK.
Well I was invited to join some friends for dinner, already knowing that one of them was part of a musical group that I so happen to enjoy. What are the odds?
Anyways (yes I know I use this word a lot), we ended up in casa tua… but not the one you think of. The wonderful bartender who was from Italy (Cuban), you’ll know what I mean, greeted us and led the way into what turned out to be a wonderful evening.
Prosciutto aged for I think was 36 months, some burrata that was melt in your mouth good and I had the Cacio e Pepe. Of course a lovely drink accompanied all of this. Music as well, from a local band and the Gypsy Kings.
Aaaaand yes they played that song, you know the one.
Buenos Nachos
