There’s something about riding in the cold crisp winter air that Florida has to offer. The day was grey and gloomy; much more of a stay at home and sleep in. In fact it started to rain, add to that winds above 15mph and you call it a Florida blizzard.
We set out that day to bike to a small coffee shop out in winter garden, leaving from Clermont. If you know the area, then you’re most likely familiar with the lovely biking trail that flows into winter garden. You pass by old quaint houses, Disney world looking neighborhoods, and tree lined paths reminding you of what urban planning could do if they actually took their jobs seriously.
I’m not going to lie. It sucked the first 15min. Wind chill leaving it around 45, small rain drops pelting you, and the chilling reminder that the faster you pedal, the colder you get. The reward though was worth it.
Small coffee shop, with what appears to be house-made pastries, arabicas from different parts of the world, and in a quiet setting. It was nice to sip on something warm In somewhere welcoming, Who knew that a month later the world would change once again. Oh well, just gotta go with the flow dudes and dudets.
To the small moments, although meaningless to you, just needed to be preserved for the sake of my ever chaotic brain.
